Related to yesterday’s theme about the third Jupiter square Saturn we’re experiencing, we are now entering one of the more powerful times of 2016! The Mutable T-square we’ve been learning to navigate and integrate is about to become a Grand Mutable Cross! This of course will affect each of us in profound ways, depending on which houses this configuration falls in.
I have discussed the Mutable T-square at length in every Lunation article as well as other recent celestial events. It is created by Jupiter in mid-Virgo opposition Neptune in mid-Pisces with both squared by Saturn in mid-Sagittarius. You can find a lot of information about how to use the Jupiter square Saturn opposition Neptune, and Saturn square Neptune energies to good effect in your lives by going to the link in yesterday’s article that will take you to the last Full Moon article, where I offer more about the configuration and its tests.
T-squares are dynamic, and fundamentally integrative, due to the way the energies work. The “tension of opposites” is created in the opposition, with the third point the driver that “breaks the tension,” or alternatively, “brakes the opposition.” As squares release powerful shifts in emphasis of how those planets in square operate, it forces the opposition to deal with a third force outside the opposition.
The problem, as well as the resolution to the problem, is in the void. In the Mutable T-square, the void is in mid-Gemini. That’s why so much is going everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I find in this instance that productive Gemini energy must be invoked to antidote any negative Gemini manifestations in our lives.
Because the second decan of Gemini is ruled by Venus and Mars, we are given clues as to what type of Gemini energy is in play, or needs to put into play. Clearly this area of the zodiac has to do with promoting or spreading idealist thoughts, or ideals of fairness, justice, or a better view of human interaction. And I remember reading that it has an association with furthering progressive causes, likely because this is the pro-active idealistic mind fulfilling the promise of the first half of Gemini and embracing the beginning of the second half.
We’ve been given rehearsals for the Great Fracturing of June every time the Moon has transited Gemini for many months. The T-square has been very close since late February, when the Sun conjuncted Neptune and began the first close resonance of the T as it squared Saturn and pulled in the wide forming opposition to Jupiter. Since then, the resonance of the signal has been non-stop.
Since then, every time the Moon, Mercury, or Venus has moved through conjunctions, squares, or oppositions to Jupiter, Saturn, or Neptune, it triggered all three planets and the configuration as a whole. That’s why March began our challenged of integrating these energies. Because these are transit-to-transit aspects, they show us the gestalt of the atmosphere, which is pretty fractured already.
However, each time these frictional aspects are made, it affects our charts in our own individual ways. For example, those with planets or angles in the middle degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, and Capricorn have had the Jupiter opposition making a sextile and trine to those planets, offering potential stability, productive growth, or comfort with the plan or method. Likewise for those with planets or angles in the middle degrees of Aries, Leo, Libra, and Aquarius, since Saturn is working a long term harmony into our lives by a disciplined expansion wherever it falls in our chart.
In the next part we’ll look at the Grand Mutable Cross and how it will function much differently than the T-square we’ve all been dealing with.

Ready for the next post as to gain a clear understanding of the Grand Mutable Cross, its effects and how can we make the most of what is coming strait at us.
Blessings be to all.
