We are now experiencing the last Jupiter square Saturn, which culminates tonight. As it will be extraordinarily close for several days, this is the heart of the gear grind wherever it falls in our charts, and sets up the general tension to be released at the Great Fracturing coming over the next few weeks.
Remember that generically, Jupiter rules Sagittarius and Pisces in worldly affairs, and Saturn rules Capricorn and Aquarius in worldly affairs, so these have been at odds in some way, or in friction with each other in some way, for as long as these squares have been happening. For example, there may have been delays, responsibilities, or duties which “curbed our enthusiasm,” or perhaps philosophical, legal, or moral considerations have rubbed up against our rules and limitations. There are many other ways this can manifest, so take a look back at anything that has had the brakes put on it, or an opening that allowed you to get beyond an old rule, assumption, or fear.
Some of the major themes we learn during Jupiter square Saturn involve how our Virgo works well or not with our Sagittarius. Since Jupiter has been the handle for the Bucket Jones pattern, and lead off planet for those times when we’ve been in a Locomotive Jones pattern, it’s been very important in where to focus to get a handle on things. Again, I’ve written extensively about this in The Full Moon of Gemini-Sagittarius in May 2016 Pt. 3, so please take a look to understand how this square and the on-going Mutable T-square works. This aspect has forced our personality to accept our Soul in some way, or remain frustrated in its lack of ability to "make things happen."
Interestingly, the three squares between Jupiter and Saturn feature two distinctly different types of energy. The first happened in August 2015 when Jupiter was at 29 Leo and Saturn was at 29 Scorpio. You will also recall that Venus had just retrograded back into Leo, and joined Jupiter in the exact square to Saturn.
The second square happened in March 2016 when Jupiter was at 17 Virgo and Saturn was stationary retrograde at 17 Sagittarius. In another interesting “coincidence,” at that square Venus was exactly at 17 Pisces, creating a Mutable T-square. That month, when the Sun, and then Mercury, and then Venus all made the T, it affected Neptune, pulling it into the energy released at that T into a transmutational degree in mid-Gemini.
We now finish the third square, which really is a continuance of the second square, since Jupiter and Saturn have never been more than 2d 5m apart since then. This one falls at 14 Virgo to 14 Sagittarius. So in some ways it will be substantially different from the second square, since it falls in the first half of the signs rather than the second half of the signs, giving an entirely different energy to its nature.
Of course, given that Saturn is still squaring Neptune and will be through October, it’s not like the square will put anything to rest! And to note, Jupiter and Saturn will continue to be in very tight square through the first week of June, and so in a very tight orb during the coming Great Fracturing. I have an article on that coming tomorrow.
For now, though, we’re in the heart of the hurricane, so be good jugglers, find multiple angles of approaching getting the information you need, and be as flexible as possible, since things will break apart in the near future. Whether chaotic or a needed relief, things are in dynamic motion for the next few weeks!

Interesting the way energies are playing out and shaping the very near future.
Thanks Robert.
Blessings be to all.
