As I offered a few days ago, we’re now in the heart of the Grand Mutable Cross. Is there anything good that can happen now?
While this configuration might require some degree of deliberation in order to know what to do and when, it is equally true this configuration might lead some to trying to factor in too much information, and make things more complex than they really are. I believe we can dissect this configuration to know better how to deal with the very complex energies at work.
As I told you in Astrology Class in May 2016 - The Mutable T-square is About to Become the Great Fracturing of 2016 Pt. 1 the main issue for all of us has been the very powerful mutable T-square made by Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune we’ve been dealing with for a few months. How we’ve handled that T-square holds the key to how we need to respond to what’s going on right now.
This configuration has challenged us to integrate conflicting energies in the life areas where we have mid-Pisces, mid-Virgo, and mid-Sagittarius, and shown us the problem and/or solution to the problem wherever we have mid-Gemini. We’ve gotten a preview of June’s Grand Mutable Cross each time the Moon has been in mid-Gemini.
In Astrology Class in May 2016 - The Mutable T-square is About to Become the Great Fracturing of 2016 Pt. 2 we explored the difference in how a T-square works and how a Grand Cross works, and why this is so important. In a nutshell, the former challenges integration, whereas the latter fractures all in its orb. That’s why I’ve termed what’s going on a “Great Fracturing.” When you’re done here, please take a new look at those articles, since I go into greater depth about the energies we’re dealing with.
I believe these are configurations that help us “destroy to rebuild,” or take something apart as a prelude to recombining the materials in a different way. And as I mentioned, those with planets or angles in the middle degrees of any sign are having those planets harmoniously aspected by one or both axes of the Grand Cross. If you have planets or angles aspects by one or both axes, then that indicates great productivity and stabilization that may help you turn a corner in the area of the other axis.
For example, in my own chart I have Venus at 14 Taurus. This is being trined by Jupiter and sextiled by Neptune, throwing a very harmonious void into mid-Scorpio. So the current line of tension of Jupiter opposed Neptune works favorably on my Venus, and as I used Venusian energies, I can release through the Gemini-Sagittarius energies. Of course, given the Sag energies are quincunx my Venus, that’s another layer of analysis that stands unto itself.
I also have the Moon at 14 Aquarius, which is sextile and trined by the Gemini-Sagittarius opposition, throwing the favorable growth energy into mid-Leo. As with the previous example, I can use the Lunar energies building through the Gemini-Sagittarius axis of tension and release through the Virgo-Pisces energies. And just as my Venus is quincunxed by Saturn in Sagittarius, my Moon is quincunxed by Jupiter in Virgo, which is its own field of operation.
I suppose the best thing about this Grand Cross is that the transiting Light and “Liking” of the Sun and Venus in Gemini shows us that these on-going energies can illuminate and integrate the problem indicated by the T-square while also providing the release and/or braking mechanism indicated by how a square operates. So the Sun and Venus are showing the emergent square energy to what was initiated when they conjuncted Neptune, while also showing the culminative square to Jupiter in Virgo, and the surfacing line of tension with transiting Saturn.
We also have other factors that work on this Grand Mutable Cross to make it favorable. One of them is the Mars retrograde in late Scorpio, since it now makes a quintile to Jupiter and a tredecile to Neptune. This is a highly specializing configuration throwing a very favorable void to late Taurus, with this specializing energy released through the Gemini-Sagittarius line of tension.
To that configuration we add transiting Mercury in late Taurus, forming a quintile to Neptune and tredecile to Jupiter! So we have an opposition from Taurus to Scorpio that interacts in a highly specialized favorable way with the opposition from Virgo to Pisces, and this interlocking configuration is being released a number of ways via the Gemini-Sagittarius opposition!
Obviously if you have a planet or angle in any of these zones, you will definitely be impacted by what’s going on. And even if you have planets in mid-Gemini and Sagittarius, they will have magic being worked on them via the quintiles, tredeciles, and oppositions that will help those Gemini and Sagittarius energies turn a big corner, and/or replacing old manifestations of these energies with newer, more effective expressions of these.
So enjoy the wild ride, be careful when it comes to communications and what you believe you’ve said or heard, but by all means, take advantage of this very favorable fracturing energy to turn to new things, new information sources, new ways of expressing your understanding, and new ways of reaching out to others. When Mercury enters the orb of the Cross and the Moon in Sag triggers it all beginning June 18, lasting until June 23 with a slight return June 25-26, we’ll all have a different view of what is, and what could be.

lots of positive energy potentially with the grand trine in earth currently; Mercury, Jupiter, Pluto?

I confess a lot of this is over my head. Still, there are some insights that are possible to have.
Many thanks Robert.
Blessings be to all.

Hope Pluto was kind as he trined your Venus?
