Dick Gregory (October 12, 1932 – August 19, 2017) just checked out. His comedy touched literally hundreds of millions, and he was the hard edge of social truth. He knew things that were preternatural, and I had the privilege of going to a limited attendance gig in NY 36 years ago. "They can't sell you beauty. You ARE beautiful. So they sell you glamour." Wow. Told us all to hug one another and it became a very joyous interracial love fest. God bless, good Brother. May you sail on sailor. RIP.
Dick Gregory's brilliance will be greatly missed. As it has been greatly needed. Aum.
