We’re headed into a run of great aspects for the next week! However, there is one “fly in the ointment….”
That of course is Venus square Pluto which happens 8:19 pm PDT on Friday. This is the next inner planet square to Pluto, so now Venus joins Mercury and the Sun in their final quarter in their “whole cycle” with Pluto. This is a good aspect to see what’s preventing you from getting the results you want in any Venusian life area, and eliminating old frictional values and relationships.
Venus waning square Pluto can mark important culminative turning points in relationships, so be reasonable, avoid extremism, and moderate any corrosive speech or actions. This challenges us to be harmonious Aries and Cancer energy in any conflict, so do your own thing, allow others to do their own thing, and nurture all that can be nurtured while protecting what needs protecting.
So now for the good news! First, we have the VERY benevolent Sun conjunct Jupiter going on as you read this, promising intense adventures and an expansive yet deeper focus wherever it falls in our charts. Please refer to the recent article for more.
Though Venus is square Pluto, the Sun and Jupiter are almost exactly quintile Pluto, showing many unique possibilities and “quintessential” experiences are possible. As Mercury is also exactly sextile Pluto, clarity of thought and speech are favored. This can help us get to the heart of any matter if we allow our final insights to guide us rather than our initial ones. So the Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter are all favorable with Pluto, allowing Venus to be the release mechanism for the favorable Plutonic energy. Purify, eliminate, transform!
The Moon is moving through Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces between now and Tuesday Oct 31. Great for launching things and catching a swift momentum! Though the Moon initially conjuncts Pluto, that means it also makes quintiles to the Sun and Jupiter and a sextile to Mercury, so Uranus becomes the release mechanism when the Moon squares it late Thursday night PDT.
While Friday’s squares may be a bit bumpy, it can be a great turning point and the emergence of a greater vision, a healing power that integrates, an ancestral wisdom, “the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow,” and clarity about why some things ended as they did. Take a look back at April and May and you’ll get clues.
Saturday Oct 28 finds a harmonious trine to Venus in play all day and night, which should bring some very pleasant experiences and interactions. Be adaptable and versatile, and you could forge some great alliances! Overall the weekend is outstanding, featuring a Lunar septile, sextile, and then quintile to Saturn, and a Lunar quintile, then sextile, then septile to Uranus. Expect some unique and productive turning points in areas affected by these aspects.
Besides the ones just mentioned, Sunday continues the run of great aspects, with a very close double sextile triggering first Saturn and then Uranus between 2 am and 2 pm PDT. The Moon then makes trines to both Sun and Jupiter from then through Monday noon PDT, and then occults Neptune early pm PDT, anticipating the ongoing Sun and Jupiter trine Neptune! It then makes a septile and sextile to Pluto and trine to Mercury, finishing its Pisces run with a waxing square to Saturn.
So move forward with confidence, as long as you keep the human factor reasonable, moderate, just, and fair. Take the initiative with clarity and grace, but find time for rest between the intense bursts of activity. This is a very favorable period for getting a lot accomplished in the run-up to Dia de los Muertos, All Saint’s Day, All Soul’s Day, and the coming Full Moon at 12 Taurus-Scorpio on Nov 3-4. Make the most of it!!

Robert, please give a heads up when Saturn enters Capricorn. My ephemeris seems to differ significantly from yours. Also, I just ordered your Saturn book - can’t wait to read it!

Robert, I'm truly grateful for your analyses. It's just that while today (Venus sq Pluto) wasn't the worst, it was just a bunch of wallowing (not unlike my April/May as you suggested looking back to.)
The thing is, the Venus Superior Conjunction is right around the corner (Jan 9, 2018 as I'm sure you know) and it's going to be right on top of Pluto. Would love it if you prepared us in advance for this one.
Thanks again for all your wonderful knowledge and wisdom.
