Today is the anniversary of the day the U.S. "formed a more perfect union" and adopted its Constitution, the ultimate law of the land. Astrologically, this makes today, not July 4, the true birthday of the United States. (Constitutional chart at the link.) It's still a pretty good governing document, especially with the first 10 Amendments we call “The Bill of Rights.” Now if we can just hold on to what liberties we have left despite the worst efforts of the totalitarians in our society and government to take them away in the name of "safety"....
