Yes, the Equinox Full Moon was an extraordinarily important Lunation, and we’ll continue to see its influence long beyond the next two weeks. For now, remember that the Sun is closing in on a septile to Mars!
Sun Waning Septile Mars
This is a “fateful” septile involving the Sun in its Exaltation at a closing fork in the road with its ruler Mars in Taurus, the sign of its Exile. As the Sun makes a conjunction with Chiron, the Healer/Mentor who leads us to our Higher Self, this re-triggers the separating septile Mars just made to Chiron over the past week. So the Sun, the giver of Light and Life, is now vitalizing Chiron, our spiritual mentor showing us the value of humor in developing objectivity.
This is a fork in the road showing us the future seeds of healing which will come forth in the next Sun-Mars cycle which begins at their Sept 2019 conjunction at 10 Virgo. For now, this Sun/Chiron theme will dominate the next 13 weeks, with the period between now and the end of March specifically dominated by Sun septile Mars.
Affected zones have advanced since those of the recent Equinox Full Moon. Currently they are around 2-6 Aries, 24-28 Taurus, 15-19 Cancer, 7-11 Virgo, 28 Libra-2 Scorpio, 20-24 Sagittarius, and 11-15 Aquarius. Over the period the septile is exact, these will each advance 5 degrees. So if you have a planet between 2-11 Aries, 24 Taurus- 3 Gemini, 15-24 Cancer, 7-16 Virgo, 28 Libra-7 Scorpio, 20-29 Sag, and 11-20 Aquarius you’re making choices over the next week which will affect you later this year through early 2021!
Just Because It’s Past Don’t Discount the Equinox Effect!
Because the Equinox affects the 13 week period which follows, the major aspects in play during that point in time show us the issues and factors we’ll have to deal with. The Equinox chart itself shows the general conditions; where those planets fall in our charts show us our specific areas of realization and practice. Since the Full Moon occurred just hours later at 1 Libra/Aries, that “critical degree” indicates major emergent activities in all our lives wherever that “Tension of Opposites” falls in our chart.
It also why we have gifts, unique experiences and realizations, and serendipitous meetings which will happen to those who have practiced Saturn’s virtues during its stay around 19-20 Capricorn. As the Sun conjunct Chiron falls quintile Saturn, the next year will feature healing, mentoring, and growing into our Higher Selves via the high specialization shown by the quintile. Expect crucial developments when Venus and Mercury conjunct Chiron and quintile Saturn around April 16-22.
As I offered in the Full Moon article referenced above, zones most affected by the “Critical Degree” Full Moon are 1-3 Aries/Libra, 5-9 Taurus/Scorpio, 11-15 Gemini/Sag, 17-21 Cancer/Capricorn, 23-29 Leo/Aquarius, and 29-30 Virgo/Pisces. These are specifically in play the next two weeks. However, 5 of these will be active over the next year, because of the Sun conjunct Chiron with both quintile Saturn. Those 5 “magic zones” of healing into our Higher Self are 1-4 Aries, 13-16 Gemini, 25-28 Leo, 7-10 Scorpio, and 19-22 Capricorn.
Those who are consciously on a Path to higher Self-Realization will encounter the next stages in the “gifting” process or “fortuitous journey” when they are triggered around April 16-22 by Venus and Mercury and April 18-25 by Mars. The next series will occur around May 26-29, June 2-7 and 18-23, and then four times in August, along with the multiple transiting Leo biquintiles to transiting Chiron and Saturn.
The Moon Re-Enters the Occupied Span of Planets
Another primary factor in play between now and April 12 is the Moon is again entering the Bowl occupied span of planets. Right now in late Libra and Scorpio it’s the front end of the occupied span between Sag and Taurus, and so leads the approach to our direct experience. By mid-April it’ll be in Cancer at the back end of the Bowl, closing our direct experience of things.
Since it’s making conjunctions to Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus during this time, it’s resetting our monthly cycles of these planets in our charts. That’s another entire field of study within the larger science of Astrology, since each conjunction the Moon makes each month puts the focus of that energy in the house (life areas) in our charts. If you’re interested in studying this, please consider the Moon has been making conjunctions with Jupiter at various points in early Sag since the first one last November at 1 Sag. We’re currently within the Feb 27 conjunction at 22 Sag, and will have two at its 25 Sag stationary RX degree, affecting the period from late March through late May.
Till the End of the Month….
We initiate, we capture, we transform, we rehearse, we plan, we receive, and we expand into the forms of future gifts and perfect interactions. Mercury’s inferior conjunction continues to help us purify our personality so the Light of our Soul-Spirit can come forth in a cleaner form as it conjuncts Neptune for the immediate future while it goes stationary direct. This is a rebirth for all of us wherever we have mid-Pisces.
By the end of the month, Venus will have moved through the “transfiguration zone” at late Aquarius between 9:15 pm PDT this Sunday Mar 24. and 12:43 pm PDT Tuesday Mar 26. Mercury goes stationary direct on March 28, and Mars enters Gemini 11:12 pm PDT Mar 30. That means the rulers of half our houses all have something major going on in the next week! Be flexible and it’ll all go well.
Next week we’ll take a look at what the coming Mercury stationary direct period holds for all signs, and what a Solar return is and why it’s such a big deal in our lives! Have fun this Moon in Scorpio weekend!

I agree w the above poster’s comment.
The unique and remarkable quality about your posts is they are understandable by the lay public, me for example, who does not have astrology fluency, is generally intelligent and would like to understand how the planets’ movements influence us.
Thank you for your work here, Robert.
