Over the next week we have major aspects ahead indicating major shifts in relationships which will stabilize our lives.
First up, Venus squares Saturn on May 7, and trines Jupiter while squaring Pluto on May 9. This is a waxing (lower) square from Venus to Saturn and Pluto, and indicates some relationships have hit a turning point. Cancer and Libra show the problem and/or the solution, indicating we have to make sure we’re taking care of things which matter which must be fair and balanced or it’ll be a problem.
If there’s something preventing you from getting results or you feel like you’re getting lost in loose ends, there’s probably a need to change the assumptions or the rules of the game. Do what you have to do, but don’t expect this to be a “touchy feely” time, since Venus square Saturn and Pluto shows some hard realities are in the air! At least once the storm breaks at the square to Pluto, we should be seeing clearly which way the fire is illuminating. In any case go deep and pay no attention to superficial things.
On May 8 we also have Mercury conjunct Uranus and Sun sextile Neptune, showing inspired thinking is probably fairly accurate, and if you’re getting some subtle signals about something in the air, pay attention. This will be followed by Sun trine Saturn and Pluto on May 11-13, indicating that the Venus shifts will lead to Solar understanding, or that the moving away or toward someone via Venus will lead to a more stable life. As the trines harmonize and squares release, we will be building through Taurus and releasing through Aries.
Because the Moon will occupy Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo for the next week, it’s outside the occupied span and therefore the nozzle for focusing all the other planetary energies. If you want to “get a handle” on things, look to the sign of the Moon to assist your focus.
Tuesday there’s an opposition, sextile, and trine in play from Aries to Gemini/Sag, throwing favorable energy into Libra, also a void of the square. Just slow down since there’s a Mars conjunction all day Tuesday!
Wednesday has very favorable aspects between the Moon and planets in Taurus, but by Thursday we have a very powerful T-square throwing the void into late Libra as well. So what builds one day releases in the next, and the great strides made early in the week could yield either friction or integration by the end of the week.
There’s a remarkable run of favorable aspects from Saturday through Thursday, May 16, so make the most of them! Whatever friction comes up when the Moon is in Cancer should be resolved when the Moon passes through Libra on May 15-16.
It’s a particularly good time for those with planets in late Fire and Air signs, as well as the middle degrees of Earth and Water signs. Show willingness to follow through, stabilize, and understand the practical needs of what you’re involved with, and make the most of the very favorable tides once Venus squares Pluto.

Today (Tuesday) two people I know had medical emergencies. Must be that Mars conjunction!?

Hi Diana - Today, Moon is conjunct Mars, both quincunx Pluto and opposed Jupiter. The Moon and Mars are also triseptile Saturn, and septile the Mercury conjunct Uranus which is biseptile Saturn. To finish with the capstone, Venus is square Saturn.

Wow, who knew Venus sq Pluto could be so liberating. All the change was internal, but wow, I finally feel free of some negative feelings that have been holding me back for a very long time. A truth just opened up to me as if it was Uranus and not Pluto.
