As the editor of the Arizona Society of Astrologers newsletter, I compose an overview of each month. Today we take a look at the primary factors for the month.
This year the month of February begins with Mercury transiting “the transformation zone” at the cusp of the Great Age, going retrograde at 13 Pisces in mid-month. We can expect reviews, returns, reflections, and rehearsals wherever we have late Aquarius and the first half of Pisces in our charts. Show courage and focus your willpower the second half of the month, preparing to “graduate into a new realm of Being” in March. Unique insights and flashes of intuition come forth in mid-month.
The Great Compression of planets in a narrow span of signs continues, promising us a very crowded house wherever we have Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries in our charts. The entire month features Jupiter in an extraordinarily favorable tredecile to Uranus, bringing many unexpected serendipity through doors opening based in the different perspective on the past we got in Autumn 2019.
February prepares us for the radical expansions of March when Jupiter transits the January conjunctions of Mercury, Sun, Saturn, and Pluto. Those began a year of major reorganization in our lives, with new responsibilities to accept and new group work to embrace. These Capricorn cycles activate in mid-to-late March, when Mars transits those point, setting the stage for April activation of the Grand Mutation of late 2020, ushering in a new 200 year Era!
We’re still “under the beams” of the Capricorn/Cancer Eclipses of late December and mid-January, so if things are ending in those sectors of your chart, expect future rewards for your courage and willingness to do what you have to do. This month substantiates our major reorganization while pointing the way to the future Aquarian dominant energies of 2021, 2022, and 2023. Saturn is still the Master of center stage, and this month helps us crystallize elements of our individual, mental, and spiritual Being.
February emphasizes Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries energies as the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto all occupy those signs. The first half of the month Mars is activating the Jupiterian promise of 2019; the second half of the month it activates the expansive Capricorn energies of Jupiter’s transit of that sign during December and the first half of January. On February 7, Venus becomes the first inner planet this year to move into Aries and herald what is to come.
By the end of the month, Venus in Aries makes squares to Jupiter and then Pluto, giving us a forward look at the Aries/Capricorn squares of April. These help us prepare for the powerful squares from Mars in Aries to the Capricorn stellium between August and December. This promises major disruption at that time, so use positive Cancer and Libra energies during the early 2020 squares and you’ll know how to respond with grace, skill, and sensitivity later this year.
Of course, if you’re ever in the Phoenix metro area on the third Saturday of the month, please come on over to Glendale and 57th Ave. to the Astrology Store, since there’s always good fellowship, a free astrology class, and a great presentation by our outstanding guest speaker. Our next meeting is on February 15,, where the program will be on types of cures for various health issues, including Bach Flower Remedies, Cell Salts, Homeopathic remedies, gemstones, meditations, mantras and more, so please consider joining us! If you want more info or want to be on our newsletter list, let me know.

worried about 13 degree eclipse on July 3 in Milwaukee and the democratic convention when Mars squares the cancer sun.

Hi sw - Sent you an email. Have to have some things before I can add you.
Hi Maggie and Peg - Sorry you can't be there. Maybe someday we'll begin to video the programs....
Hi Nancy - Well, I'd say the Democratic party is in its own civil war, and some "progressives" are more intent on beating other Dems to death than pounding the Porn Star President at every opportunity.
