Recently an Aries client told me “I have always been searching for more understanding and awareness and I believe forgiveness and grace are much needed to continue my path forward. I am somewhat good at doing that in my profession but it is harder in my personal life. Sometimes i wonder if I ask too much of people.” She wondered where she could find out more about the power of forgiveness to invoke Divine Grace. This is a bit of what I offered her.
You say "sometimes I wonder if I ask too much of people." As an Aries, I understand the view that we expect others to be as straightforward and honest as we are. We all learn not to expect that. We learn to accept each for exactly who they are.
It's not a question of "not trusting" people. It's a question of absolutely trusting that people will be exactly who they are. If they have integrity, they will demonstrate it. If they don't have integrity, they will demonstrate that. We all have Aries in our charts somewhere. Everyone has the ability to be straightforward and honest. Those of us with the Sun in Aries are in a tribe of the Light of Self-Initiating inspired action, and we can't do what we do in any other way. This quote from Rumi sums it up:
Even if you don't know what you want,
buy something, to be part of the exchanging flow.
Start a huge, foolish project, like Noah.
It makes absolutely no difference what people think of you.
Our tribe only goes forward. We know we will never go this way again, and time slips away quickly as we stay active. Other tribes beyond Taurus do not think this way. I figure each has their approach, each has their learning style, and as we have all the signs in our charts, we can understand them if we understand ourselves. In understanding ourselves on the mental/perceptual level, we understand the ways miscommunications happen.
I then offered her this related to the invocation of Divine Grace.
What I offered you about forgiveness and grace are my own teaching. It is the result of placing myself under Divine Mother's guidance for 40 years. I have taught "spiritual science" for 45 years.
There are many spiritual tools to cultivate and use in service to healing ourselves and others. Begin by contemplating that most people are under Divine Law, which we call karma (I speak of two different types of karma and Karma in my book on Saturn.) Divine Law dictates that the ripples from the center of the pond, when they hit their "Ring Pass Not" (also discussed in the book) ultimately return to the source of that wave form.
That's why our thoughts, words, and deeds must be impeccable. All thoughts, feelings, and actions create wave forms. This is Divine Law. As we have done and/or declared we shall reap that.
However. What has not been taught until this time in history is that there is another energy, another Law, which is equal to and even greater than Divine Law. This is Divine Grace. Grace is of the Mother, who desires only good for all her children. She does not want any of her children to be punished or suffer. She wants all to live and grow in harmony, freed from the suffering they have generated through erroneous thoughts, words, feelings, and deeds.
The only way to short circuit Divine Law is by invoking Divine Grace. But we cannot demand, nor will it come forth unless we create the space for it to enter. How do we create that space? Through forgiveness. Through renouncing the need to see "justice done," or for someone "to reap what they've sown."
Remember those are of the Law. Where we invoke the Law Grace cannot enter. We must even renounce needing to be bound by the Law. This is also known as the power of intercession.
It is what every therapist, counselor, healer, priest/ess and shaman is and does. By forgiveness, we bless the error to flow down the time stream. We do not hold the hurt, the pain, the need to be compensated somehow. We bless, we release, we forgive. There are specific phrases which work excellently to train the mind to forgive rather than search for meaning and equivalence.
By total surrender to forgiving, we create a space for Grace to come forth. We do not have any intention other than to surrender to Her Grace, invoking Her all-encompassing vast redemptive power to be made manifest. True forgiveness happens automatically when we simply stop participating in any and all forms of abusive thoughts, feelings, or actions. At renouncing the need to participate in things which invoke the Law, we create space for redemption.
As an aside, in the century cycles, we are in the century of Divine Mother, TransPluto, which is bringing forth a new understanding of "God." Each great evolutionary leap involves a new understanding of "All That Is," and we are almost at the end of the Winter of the 21st century, and are now about to enter the beginning of the 25 year "Spring" of the century of Divine Mother. This new understanding allows redemption in vaster ways than humanity has known.
At this point, I offered her several excellent resources which help people heal through redirecting the mind and heart away from fear and toward forgiveness. They include Love Is Letting Go of Fear and Teach Only Love by Jerry Jampolski, You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay, and A Course in Miracles. All of these are excellent works which have helped millions of people to understand facets of the gem of the powerful spiritual tool we call forgiveness.
From today’s discussion, I hope three things are clear: 1) As we all have Aries somewhere in our charts, we all have the power of being impeccably ourselves under all conditions, 2) We all have the power to invoke Divine Grace, but must stop looking for that which would impede Divine Grace to come forth, and 3) the power of redemptive Grace will grow stronger as the century develops, since this is the century when humanity’s promise must be redeemed from the wreckage of 20th century materialistic thinking.
ps. Thanks to the comment below, I thought this would be good to contemplate. Grace comes in the silence, and pervades in a gentle way. The Law is spectacular; Grace is unobtrusive. The Law is forceful; Grace allows. I believe there is tremendous Grace in the Law, as otherwise the Law would crush us. And with each step we choose either direction, we also begin to understand the need for both. Understanding invocation and intervention as spiritual tools helps us bless and be blessed. To be part of forgiveness itself makes Life a joyous flow.

I totally agree with you Robert; I was in Findhorn (Scotland) in 2015 and I have seen the materialistic wreckage during a session of meditation with trees. The word that came to my open mind was Wreck! Regarding to the Grace chapter, in my humble experience, it is an on-and-off (like yin yang) training so to speak. On March 1st, I was in a small concert hall listening to a brilliant violonist (praised by Lord Menuhin in 2005-2009). That was the first time I was listening to her live (I was sitting on the first row, it was a 52-seat only underground hall). Thanks to her, I have let the Grace be once more and during the evening, healing in the subtle body re-occured and again on and off on March 2nd, 4th and I'll see with the coming Full Moon. The point is that healing is possible anytime (beyond expectation first and foremost), not only during sitting sessions or gentle walking sessions. On March 1st, after the concerto, back home, I was gingerly washing cutlery & bowls and at the sink, I've felt Grace so I've paid extra attention by giving space to this healing energy occuring spontaneously (and I've stopped washing bowls for a while...) AUM!

Robert, one mistake, the female violonist was praised by Lord Menuhin before his death in 1999; actually, she was in his International Menuhin Music Academy (IMMA) until 2009. Time flies! And death is not death for brilliant people! AUM!

By the way, because this article is anchored also in the field of Aries, I have in Aries (8th House) North Node 0°15 Chiron Moon Saturn Venus and the apex of a Yod!

Hi GMJ - Yes, it comes in the silence, and pervades in a gentle way. The Law is spectacular; Grace is unobtrusive. The Law is forceful; Grace allows. I believe there is tremendous Grace in the Law, as otherwise the Law would crush us. And with each step we choose either direction, we also begin to understand the need for both.

Thanks for another in-sight-ful article Robert. It has me pondering Binah on the Tree of Life, which is Feminine and associated with Saturn. Having meditated with the Tree for many years now, my understanding and relationship with Saturn has shifted greatly. I feel that at some point in "time", our understanding of time shifted with Saturn being masculinised and associated with the Partriarchy, but at this current time, we're re-membering Saturn as also feminine. That speaks to me of Divine Law and Divine Grace being 2 sides of the same coin of Saturn.

Hi Nic - Thanks.
Hi Louise - Excellent insight! Saturn is the gatekeeper. We are bound to the Law until we accept that there is a force beyond the law, which is the equivalent of speaking "Abracadabra" and Saturn opens the gate to the Greater Redemption. Again, the Law must be infused with Grace, or else it would crush us. And Grace is bound by Law, in that it cannot come forth until the Law is released in specific circumstances.
