Thursday was the birthday of one of the greatest guitar heroes ever to pick a note, the legendary Peter Green. This guitar genius founded Fleetwood Mac in 1967 and wrote some of the most haunting songs ever recorded, including "The Supernatural," "Black Magic Woman," "Oh Well," and the amazing "Green Manalishi." Today we launch our dance early, so enjoy dancing to these great videos celebrating the birthday of this Master of electric blues!

Daylight Saving Time in the US Is Over Tonight

Remember that Daylight Saving Time in the US ends tonight! Going off DST makes it an hour earlier on your clocks, so remember to turn your clocks back an hour before you go to bed and enjoy the extra hour of rest tomorrow. People in Hawaii and most of Arizona can ignore this, since you aren't on DST. Mahalo!

Sean Connery Just Left the Stage and Split for A Larger Venue

The great Sean Connery (25 August 1930 – 30/31 October 2020) just checked out. Heralded in the past as "the greatest living Scot" and "The Sexiest Man of the Century," he was truly one of the all time greats in film. While most know him as THE James Bond, he also had some great roles in other movies. My personal favorite was his role in "The Man Who Would Be King" with Michael Caine. Happy trails, ultimate tough (and VERY sexy) guy. RIP.

For those who haven't heard of "The Man Who Would Be King," it is more than a brilliant movie with two of the greatest performances by two of the greatest actors; it is a tale of archetypal serendipity and a fall from inflated ego expectations when the curtain is stripped away. Brilliant movie from the first scene to the last. I believe Kipling joined the immortals when he wrote that book in the 1880s.
