It's Been A Year Since Alex Trebec Got Promoted To Host God's Game Show

Because he was culturally iconic, we honor the first anniversary of Alex Trebec taking a hosting gig on the galactic level. As I wrote last year, "Alex Trebec (July 22, 1940 – November 8, 2020) just checked out after 2 years of battling pancreatic cancer, living longer than any of us expected. He's been around so long and is so iconic he will never be replaced. That said, I suspect Ken Jennings is being groomed as the next host, which would be a fitting continuity to the legacy Alex gave us. Bon Voyage, man of limitless knowledge. RIP." As fans of the show know, after some honk and drama (very unlike the show!) Mayim is the host, Ken is the guest host, Buzzy's the host of the special tournaments, and the show goes on! Alex, you're still loved and revered by millions. I'm sure you're as classy in death as you were in life. Pranams.
