At 8:09 pm PST on December 28, Jupiter resumes its transit of Pisces. We got an initial exposure to this in the Spring, and now pick up where that left off. This will profoundly affect all of us wherever we have Sagittarius or Pisces planets, as well as the houses with those signs on the cusp. As Jupiter is in its home sign we can expect to open us all to its vast feeling capacity, where the ghosts and mythos of humanity reside and all of us feel, even when we don’t have words to describe it.
This marks both an opening and a closing of many things related to our compassion, or “fellow-feeling,” as well as our ability to see all things within the vast and deep Mystery of human-ness, with all its flaws and powers of the animal up to the angelic world and beyond. It is an opening, since Pisces is the fourth sign from Jupiter’s rulership of Sagittarius. Therefore Jupiter’s fiery nature renewed in 2018-2019 now can be grounded in its first emergence into forms shown by Pisces.
This year is a split in Jupiter’s influence, since it occupied Aquarius from January through mid-May, and again when retrograde from July 28 through now. When it enters Pisces it will race through that sign, because Pisces is Jupiter’s perihelion, or fastest point in its orbit. Because Jupiter is at maximum speed in Pisces we can expect a time of rapid goodbyes, rapid closures, rapid harvests, and rapid karmic shifts during those 132 days.
It will enter Aries on May 10, 2022, where it will get to 9 Aries before going retrograde. On October 28, 2022, Jupiter will retrograde back into Pisces, go stationary direct at 29 Pisces in late November, and re-enter Aries by December 20. So we got an initial 11 week experience between May and July 2021, and are about to have a whitewater Jupiterian ride the first four months of 2022, with a last look back over four weeks at the end of the year.
Today is merely the prelude to a longer article explaining what’s coming in the Jupiter in Pisces era now upon us. Since it went retrograde, we’ve gotten glimpses of the “indestructible” elements in our lives as part of the ongoing transfiguration process indicated by the three Jupiter transits this year of the Transfiguration Zone of 29-30 Aquarius. This past year Jupiter has had a primary Aquarian focus, with Jupiter’s brief stay in Pisces a few months ago the initial look at promises kept and new adventures to embrace.
So get ready to feel a lot! I have this position natally, and can assure you that you will all be opening to a greater feeling experience than when Jupiter is in any of the other signs. While Jupiter in Pisces is occasionally very strange, it’s only due to the “tuning into” the vast collective unconscious with all its murky substance and conflicted feelings. Learn to flow, learn to forgive, learn that not all feelings should be acted on, and learn that to defer is not to abandon. Sometimes the finesse wins the game, and waiting until everything plays out the best strategy before tipping one’s hand.
Again, Jupiter in Pisces is good for ending what needs ending, and grounding a new inspiration in a vaster connectedness with “All-That-Is.” If you feel weird, see it as an opportunity to refine your sensory receiving mechanism, since there is much which should not be taken personally when Jupiter is in Pisces. As Mars is transiting Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces during the time Jupiter occupies that sign in early 2022, it makes waning aspects to Jupiter, indicating the completion of the cycle which began at their last conjunction in Capricorn in March 2020.
So let’s all welcome Jupiter’s re-entry into its home sign of Pisces! If you have a planet in early Pisces, or were born in late February, Jupiter is sitting exactly on your planet. And for the rest of us with a planet in Pisces, even at the end of the sign, we’ll begin to vibrate to the new Jupiter energy visiting that planet. Because of the sign shift, planets transiting Pisces this year will now exhibit more of the water qualities of Pisces.
Face the future, since this will help us learn a greater view of abundant possibilities, remembering that every ending is followed by a new beginning, and we have the power to choose, as part of the social-cultural dance Jupiter and Saturn do with each other in our charts. We enter a time of deep feelings, and an expanded capacity to feel and demonstrate compassion.
It is as though Jupiter’s conjunction with Saturn at 1 Aquarius launching the Grand Mutation which began to be substantiated in Pisces earlier this year will now attract what it needs to burst forth in new forms when Jupiter enters Aries. And of course, in 2022 and 2023 Saturn will “make real” all which Jupiter promised in its transit of Aquarius, while in 2023-2025 it will “make real” all which Jupiter has promised in its transits of Pisces in the Summer of 2021, the first few months of 2022, and the last two months of 2022.

I think between now and May, there is need to stay Conscious of one's own Authentic Direction and not fall into Group-think or Group-feel. I do agree that Jupiter's move into Pisces symbolizes the culmination of 11-12 years of Jovian experience which will be Renewed and "New" when Jupiter enters Aries in May. IMO, we've left the Piscean Age behind so this Jupiter in Pisces is merely a "tuning" of those Trans-personal Areas that we'll need when living and working in the New Aquarian Areas. This with the "6" Numerology of the "2022" World Year for the next 12 months we are truly "At home within Ourselves". Hope you had a great X-mas, Robert. :)
