Yes, after three years, my new book is finally done and The Magic of Venus: Friendships, Soul Mates, and Twin Flames is available for purchase! It’s the most comprehensive book ever written on how our inner Venus plays out in our life relationships, and is a blend of astrology, psychology, and spirituality in ways that will help all those who read it to come to more fulfilling relationships with self, others, and Source.
This book is the fruition of everything I’ve learned about healthy relationships, as well as an astrological reference book. I have chapters with Venus in the signs, as well as the qualities of each sign’s archetypal mate. It is a book with countless gems for your consideration, and whether imagining what your ideal mate might be like, or imagining what a better partner might be like after learning the last one wasn’t your Twin Flame, this is the book for you!
There are also chapters on how we attract who we are and how to focus our ability to attract our ideal mate. There are chapters on the value of friendship and how to know if someone is right for us, how changing our patterns changes who we attract, and how our family and culture influences our likes when we’ve young. For astrologers, there are chapters on important astrological factors in compatibility, marriage charts, and the timing on who we meet and what that means.
I believe a special feature of The Magic of Venus: Friendships, Soul Mates, and Twin Flames is the chapter explaining the difference between Soul Mates and Twin Flames which is sure to help everyone understand that just because someone breaks your heart, it could still point the way to the most incredibly fulfilling relationship you ever imagined in the future! There is also a chapter with affirmations for each Sun/Venus sign combination, so that everyone can center on attracting their perfect life relationships.
This book explores the Lover archetype, and the qualities in each of us which attract the people we need to become the most fulfilled Being we can be. It opens the doors to a greater view of relationships, and how to work and play with who we are to attract the best people for us, whether friends, romantic partners, or our ideal mate. It’s both a reference book and a work with wisdom gleaned from a lifetime of relationships and exploring the essentials of healthy relationships.
The book was written for both astrologers and non-astrologers. Even those with little or no understanding of astrology will benefit from what’s offered. It’s more than I ever thought or intended, and I have no doubt it will open the door to your imagination and ability to find perfect friendships, make the most of the Soul Mates you’ve met or will meet, and help you understand how the Twin Flame is different than a Soul Mate.
Because I did this with Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend to help introduce people to some gems in that work, I’ll do the same for you over the next few weeks. The Magic of Venus is guaranteed to help you become the best You that you can be, recognize the potential problems in relationships, and discover ways to turn all that is difficult into more fulfilling ways of experiencing life and relationships. The ebook will be available sometime in April or May.
For your consideration, a few paragraphs from the Introduction. We'll explore bit of other chapters in future posts.
Whenever your Sun is in the same sign as someone else’s Venus, they will naturally and instinctively like you. Conversely, if your Venus is in the same sign as someone else’s Sun, you will naturally and instinctively like them. As you can see, knowing your Venus sign is also very valuable in finding out who you could really like.Of course, it comes with the same caution I suggested for Sun sign contacts. If your Venus is operating constructively, and someone else’s Sun or Venus is operating negatively, though you may have affection for them or they for you, you definitely cannot afford to tolerate destructive or abusive behavior. Just because we like someone doesn’t mean we’re supposed to be pleasant and agreeable while our life is wrecked!
This is where we have to be clear about the source of the problem. Sometimes it does involve our behavior, sometimes it involves another’s behavior, and sometimes it’s just life circumstances intruding on our comfort zone. In these situations astrology helps us sort out what’s ours and what’s not.
Another extremely important factor in our relationships is our Moon sign. Our Moon symbolizes our comfort zone, our personal feeling-space. Our Moon sign shows us who and what fits in well with our everyday life and habits, our needs and feelings, our insecurities and how we would like to be nurtured. Since the Moon also shows us how we package our personality, harmonious contacts between our own and another’s Sun and Moon, or the Moon and Venus, indicate the possibility of a greater love and affection from those who share these contacts with us.
Other planets also help us in our quest for our ideal mate. At their best, our Jupiter sign shows us who will bless us and expand our imagination and opportunities, just as our Saturn sign shows us who will teach us the most important lessons of our life and help us mature, even if it involves tough choices. Our Mercury sign shows us how we perceive and understand our world. Mercury contacts between people encourage us to think and share information, and different points of view. People with planets contacting our Mercury will stimulate us to think about all kinds of things, and you’ll always have something to talk about. Mercury influenced couples talk with each other all the time about all kinds of things!
Mars shows us the types of people and experiences who quicken the pace of our life. They are the ones who sometimes annoy or aggravate us, and spur us to action and always get us moving, for better or worse. Venus in one person’s chart contacting the Mars in another’s chart can lead to very intense physical passion. Though it can be tempting “to throw fate to the wind,” if one’s Mars contacts another’s Venus, a degree of caution is in order, or you could be dealing with unintended consequences which quickly get out of hand. Venus-Mars contacts are passionate and volatile, but also very exciting!
Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are generational planets, and symbolize invisible transpersonal and global forces operating on a meta level. If one or more of these contact personal planets between two people, you can bet there’s a karmic connection, where both of you will be transformed in unexpected ways. It shows a cosmic influence or an “invisible hand” at work in your relationship.
If these planets in someone else’s chart contact a planet in your chart, they represent something beyond what you could see or imagine or understand before you met them. They will revolutionize your life in unpredictable ways related to your larger spiritual quest for truth. How our planets impact others and how theirs impact us is discussed further in Chapter 6 on Synastry, Composites, and Compatibility analysis.
You can use the links above to go to amazon and get your copy! Or if you prefer, go to your local bookstore and order one. This book is unique, and whether you’re an astrologer or someone interesting in knowing how to attract more ideal friendships and potential partners in your life, by the time you’ve finished the last chapter, you’ll already be attracting different people than before you started.
All blessings to Venus, showing us who and how to love!
