Venus entered its home sign of Taurus at 7:46 am PDT, 8:46 pm BST on May 28. From here it moves through its home in Taurus until it enters Gemini on June 22. What does Venus’ passage through Taurus hold for all of us?
It means that Venus now moves from the dynamic “ready, fire, aim” impulsive genuineness of Aries into its naturally enjoyable, reliable, steady and pleasant qualities in Taurus. Venus in Taurus is as self-motivated as Venus in Aries while having a whole lot more fun enjoying the ride! While Venus in Pisces feels everything there is to feel, and Venus in Aries feels only what is immediate and passing, Venus in Taurus savors each moment.
While Venus in Aries leaps forward into relationships, opportunities, and is quick to like and equally quick to “unlike” its objects of attraction, Venus in Taurus likes what it likes and is not particularly inclined to try new things unless they’re easy and pleasant. While Venus in Aries is highly agitated, Venus in Taurus likes comfort and ease. While Venus in Aries is “built for speed,” Venus in Taurus is “built for comfort.”
Venus entering Taurus also marks a shift in the energy of planets and houses we have in Taurus and Libra. Taurus stabilizes the recent “forward motion” of Aries related to any planets or houses we have in Taurus or Libra. So look at it as the step stabilizing and confirming recently developing new likes, a new social promise, new values, and new perspectives.
We’ve already experienced this year’s Taurus energies via the Sun and Mercury. This brings substance to what’s begun, and will activate in dynamic ways when Mars enters Taurus in July. What we activate and concretize in Taurus this year will open doors of opportunity in 2023 when Jupiter moves through Taurus. Use the next few weeks to find a new value and/or appreciation for the new beginnings already in progress.
So welcome to the gateway to a new Venusian experience which will lead us to greater life and relationship discoveries once it enters Gemini. As our Venus response evolves, we have the capability to enjoy the subtle pleasures in life to the fullest. No longer over-indulgent or self-denying, we can choose what to like and find a rich appreciation for the banquet of life experiences which are ours for the enjoying!
Because Venus changing signs shows us our own changing tastes as well as the changing tastes of those around us, you can find out more about Venus in Aries, Taurus, Gemini, and all the signs in my new book The Magic of Venus: Friendships, Soul Mates, and Twin Flames. It is the most comprehensive book on Venus ever written, and explains why we attract who we do and how to create more satisfying relationships in the future.
This work offers all you could want to know about the power of your inner Venus and how you can make your relationships more fulfilling because you are living a Soul-ful life. You’ll find out about why you like or don’t like people and things, why you’ve attracted who you have in the past and present, and how to make those attractions more aligned with your Soul purpose in the future. You’ll understand why Soul Mates come into our lives, and how to know the difference between a Soul Mate and our Twin Flame.
It has chapters on the qualities of each sign’s natural mate, the qualities of Venus in each sign, and when crucial choices and changes are made, affecting who we attract in the future. It was written for both astrologers and lay people, and as it has a thousand gems for better relationships, with self, others, and Source, please consider getting your copy by going to the link above! (And when you’re done, please leave a review on Amazon, since it helps the book and all other books on astrology as well!)
