On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson (January 31, 1919 – October 24, 1972) took the field for the Brooklyn Dodgers and desegregated baseball forever. Jackie, thanks for breaking the ice so that America could begin to get over the virus of racism. You never backed down, and were classy in the face of impossible hatred, just like President Obama. Thanks for the grit. You were one of a kind, and a true Aquarian showing the world a better way.
