This is the culminating square to Pluto in Capricorn. There will be no more culminations of this cycle in these signs, so say goodbye with balance, poise, grace, and a sense of philosophical completion, now that you know what you value and what field of activity is natural and fun for you.
A Sun square Pluto challenges our ability to concentrate, throw off fear, and use our self-discipline to see to the core of things as we find confidence to “shine our Light” despite it being at odds or in conflict with the larger “underworld” pressures shown by transiting Pluto. Obviously this impacts all of us with planets in the last 3 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn as well as the first 3 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, and between 12-18 Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
I’ve made some of the most crucial and beneficial changes in my life during transiting Sun square transiting Pluto. It helps us turn away from corrosive influences, or put the brakes on an old disintegrating course of action. While many might fear this aspect, I have found it’s great for getting clear about what we need to do as directly as possible, cutting to the core of any matter.
I’ll be speaking about transmuting squares and oppositions to personal power and awareness in the class I’m giving to Astrology Arizona this Saturday at 1 pm PDT. When we learn how to deal with squares and oppositions to our natal planets, as well as transit to transit aspects generating tension, we quickly learn our ability to tap our spiritual power and use the times of tension to best effect. Please consider coming to the talk this Saturday, October 26. We’re going to cover a lot of material you won’t want to miss!
Because this Sun square Pluto is followed by Mars sextile Uranus, trine Neptune, and opposition Pluto, we have some very favorable energy harmonizers which can be released through the Sun at this square, so shine a light, and know that certain dues are done forever.
