Ten thousand rooms and tents, millions of stones, and hundreds of thousands of stone freaks groovin’ on Nature art from all over the world! If you want something, the time is now!
In city-wide multiple shows, a billion stones and fossils are everywhere from around the world. Tents and open hotel rooms everywhere filled to the max with stones, a true “rock concert” vibe is in the air. I’ve seen an ocean of beads with tons of lapis in every shape and size, and buckets of Carnelian from India and Montana. Last year I found a tent with thousands of deep purple small Uruguayan Amethyst cathedrals at great prices and bought a few which people wanted as soon as they knew I had them.
In past years, I’ve found extraordinary Ethiopian opals, Lavender Brazilian quartz, deep red Moroccan quartz blades and clusters, Afghan aquamarines, Brazilian green tourmalines, Utah blueberry azurites, Pakistani Moonstone, raw Chrysocolla, stunning blue-green azurmalachite specimens, chatoyant malachite from Africa, extraordinary turquoise, and some fabulous big pieces of Mexican emerald green Calcite.
For those of you who have purchased from me before, I found that the banded Arizona azurite and Arizona Campbellite are actually worth a LOT more than I’ve been selling them for, so congratulations if you’ve gotten some from me. You got a great deal!!
Anyway, I’ll be going this weekend, so if you want something specific email me asap. And even if we can’t connect before the show, I have pieces in my collection I’m willing to part with.
