Uranus the Awakener Moving Into its Shadow Zone in Taurus and Gemini – Revolution in 2025

Sometime on April 25, Uranus will enter 28 Taurus, beginning this year’s occupancy of its Shadow Zone. What does this mean and why should we care?

First, it means Uranus will be in the span between 28 Taurus and 2 Gemini between now and the end of May 2025! Second, it means wherever we have 28 Taurus to 2 Gemini in our charts is now the area of awakening, individualization, and new discoveries, and the aspects Uranus makes to our planets changes how we express our individuality.

The shadow zone is defined by the span between where a planet goes retrograde, and where it goes direct after the retrograde period. In this case, Uranus went direct in late January 2025 at 24 Taurus, the same degree as its retrograde station in August 2023. So we’ve all awakened to a new assertiveness, a new expertise, or new “command” function since then.

It now is moving through 28 Taurus on the way to 2 Gemini, where it will go stationary retrograde in early September. It will then retrograde back to 28 Taurus where it goes stationary direct in early February 2026. That means the “creative awakener” in the collective Spiritual Field will be focused on the themes related to 28, 29, and 30 Taurus, and 1-2 Gemini, for the rest of this year into 2026.

Uranus works with Saturn, our "Spiritual Master and Spiritual Friend” who teaches us the virtues of Self-mastery to bring forth our individuality and helps us accomplish our spiritual purpose. Now that Uranus is about to enter 28 Taurus, we are moving into unknown zones of individuation humanity hasn’t experienced since 1941-1942.

As Uranus moves through its next “shadow zone” between 28 Taurus and 2 Gemini, its SRX degree in early September, it will awaken many things which are potential larger adventures, truths and opportunities set into motion when Jupiter transited this zone in late May and early June 2024. These will activate in late June 2026 when Mars moves through this degree span and activates all of Jupiter’s and Uranus’ stationary points and conjunctions.

28 Taurus awakens us all to a “genuine rejuvenation” and an ability to embrace new beginnings, some of which began in August-September 2024. 29 Taurus is about the ability to see things from multiple points of view to confirm certain realities, and 30 Taurus is about enjoying the fulfillment of confirming our individual spirituality.

1 Gemini will awaken us to things we never knew before, including much that has been “below the surface of life” for us up to now. 2 Gemini, where Uranus will go SRX, is “the Santa Claus degree,” promising gifts from unseen sources if we can prepare the food and drink for Santa and then go to bed so he can show up!

Looking Ahead

So get in touch with the rebeginnings and life renewals already awakening since last August which can give you a new look on life and a “genuine rejuvenation.” This will lead to an awakened view of contrasts, as well as the ability to enjoy life to a greater degree. We all have begun the process which led us back to our wisdom and our sense of our heart’s desire which is yet to be made manifest. Since January we’ve been showing our expertise and again awakening to our heart’s desire. Now we move into this year’s Uranian lessons of individualization!

So enjoy the new territory Uranus is leading us into! We’ve awakened to enjoying ourselves just being us in social setups, seen elements of our heart’s desire made manifest and our ability to offer our wisdom to our world from a place of inner peace, and now resume the rejuvenation and life renewal which began August 2024.

Allow yourself to feel how your mature experience now enables you to “admire your wisdom” and find regeneration and renewal where you have late Taurus. Feel the “unknown zones of higher awakening,” and prepare to discover things you never knew before beginning in July 2025. Renewed realizations are on the way this Summer and Autumn!

A brief meditation: We are never separate from Life, Love, Wisdom, each other, or “All-That-Is,” for even one second. We are One Life Together. Open to your experience of Being that Life/Light/Love within the Unified Field.

Uranus awakens us to our unique purpose in the field of Life, Neptune’s vast tides will help us navigate the great depths of Life and find our way to our own archipelago in the vast ocean of collective consciousness, and Pluto keeps us clean to the core along the way.

We are now moving into places we have not known for 84 years. There is nothing to fear, with friends to be found, discoveries to be made, and service to be done as we enjoy the journey!

I am looking at current planets and Uranus is at 25 Taurus 57… and it does not come to 27 Taurus until mid May… ???

Hi J - Sometime on April 25, Uranus will hit 26 Taurus 01'. That is 27 Taurus.

I find it peculiar that you cannot be emailed or contacted. I thought about blocking you for the falsehood you posted about Mark Twain but left you able to comment.

Hi all - at that point, she created a screaming insulting comment filled with ugly sexist bile that she couldn't post, took a screen shot, and posted it on my FB page.

In the comment she called me personally insulting names because the Sabian symbols require rounding up, and she screamed at me that we shouldn't do that, even though Jones and Rudhyar specified that's how they are to be read. And she went on a diatribe about not giving credit to Elsie Wheeler, which everyone knows I do that every time I tell the story about the symbols. And she sought to denigrate Marc Edmund Jones, which only a jealous unevolved lower ego would do.

I suggest giving Juliet Recamier a wide berth. She was very unstable, hostile, and aggressive in our last interaction before I had to block her on FB as well. I'm also quite sure that if we were face to face she would be more civil, so she's just another internet voice screaming for attention and believing being ugly will win friends and influence people.
