Today we have a few quick references for Mars in each sign.
Mars in Aries teaches us we don’t need permission to do what we need to do right now. Mars in Aries wants to know what to do so it can just do it. It jumpstarts action, and works in intense bursts of activity. This helps us not defer so much, and shows us working half-heartedly is not the way to accomplish much.
Mars in Taurus teaches us persistence as we settle into our groove. Here we focus on “taking the next step for as long as it takes,” keeping it simple and steady to remain unmoved by crosswinds. Mars in Taurus teaches us to take pleasure in our work and set our own limits and tasks when we want.
Mars in Gemini teaches us to take action to learn so we know how to adapt what we’re doing and how we’re doing it. Mars in Gemini initiates interactions and exchange of ideas; the annoying ones help us figure out what works and what doesn’t as we learn there are many ways to get things done.
Mars in Cancer teaches us to test each action before we fully commit, feeling our way around things while not jeopardizing our position. Mars in Cancer is watchful as it works, and in this sign is capable of sensitive acts of caring as it protects what it feels needs protecting.
Mars in Leo teaches us to get on stage, put on the show with style, and engage the world’s play. Mars in Leo loves to command with creativity, working through flair and impressive expression. Mars in Leo doesn’t feel that it needs to give an inch, because it knows it’s inspired enough to find a way to succeed.
Mars in Virgo teaches us to get a plan, get the right tools, get the right skills, and implement the execution of the plan with precision and a meticulous eye to details. Mars in Virgo knows that work is the means by which we know we are skilled, since all play and no work make for a wasted and ungrounded life.
Mars in Libra teaches us that creating lasting works of beauty and excellence are accomplished in stages. Mars in Libra likes times to evaluate and make course corrections, keeping the ideal in mind during the thousand steps it takes to achieve a goal. This position reminds us that work without socializing makes for a boring and unsustainable life.
Mars in Scorpio teaches us not to get distracted by what was or might be, and concentrate on what is beyond what we’re seeing. This is the surgeon intensely focused on the task at hand. Mars in Scorpio shows us that doing the wrong thing in the wrong way with the wrong people will never make us happy, so do the right thing and be happy!
Mars in Sagittarius teaches us how to be guided by an inspired vision, a greater truth and freedom to act to further the future here and now, while showing us that scattered or inconsistent effort is frustrating. Mars in Sagittarius is a stylish and bold Archer where we ride our Sacred Arrows to our dream.
Mars in Capricorn teaches us to work in an organized way, knowing how to execute vision or truth in the here and now. Mars in Capricorn shows us the value of persistence and determination, where we work in the present, work for the future, and work for all time.
Mars in Aquarius teaches us to work for the greatest good for the greatest number while not getting aggravated at the time it will take to achieve distant goals. Mars in Aquarius shows that as we strive for greater things, we make future ideals manifest which might outlive us.
Mars in Pisces teaches us to work intuitively, and trust empathy to show which way the currents lead. Mars in Pisces can be disorienting, so we learn to hang out until we get a clear signal. Mars in Pisces shows us through our efforts we can know our common humanity as we all struggle for clarity in murky collective environments.
